Description of the heat-flux and sea ice production data set in the Arctic Ocean The heat-fluxe and sea ice production analysis is produced daily on the SSM/I EASE grid. The analysis uses SSM/I microwave data and NCEP2 and ERA-interim data. The analysis of heat-flux and ice production is described in Tamura, T., and K. I. Ohshima (2011), Mapping of sea ice production in the Arctic coastal polynyas, Journal of Geophysical Research, 116, C07030, doi:10.1029/2010JC006586. When you will use these data set in your paper, please be sure to refer Tamura and Ohshima (2011). In this web site, the heat-flux and sea ice production analysis is available in individual yearly files of individual monthly data products.
