水界の硫黄循環システムと微生物群集の共進化
そこで、当研究分野は水界の硫黄循環システムと微生物群集の共進化を分子生態学的に解明することを目指しています。硫黄代謝にかかわる機能遺伝子の起源を探るのみならず、硫黄循環システムとそれを担う微生物の相互作用が地球の酸化−還元、温度、光条件等の変化でいかに変遷して来たかを明らかにすることが、本研究の特徴です。
