Research Interests

Aerosol is an important component in the atmosphere and has active role in cloud formation and radiative budget. But still there are few studies have been conducted based on high-altitude. During the Ph.D. course in Hokkaido University, I studied on the source and formation processes of marine atmospheric aerosols from high altitude in the Indian ocean area. To investigate these processes of the aerosols, several chemical and statistical analyses were carried out. I would love to continue the study on aerosol components especially secondary aerosols, which are still underestimated in climate models.
Before the Ph.D. course, I researched on soil and water qualities in the industrial and agricultural areas, where soil and water have been much contaminated by multiple chemicals and processes, in Bangladesh. I would like to contribute the study to minimize the intensity of these pollutions in soils and water.

Currently, I am fousing to the following two researches:

  • Advanced and extensive research on the air quality and aerosol, especially volatile organic compounds.
  • Research on the minimization of soil and air pollution.
