The word ‘IsoPEG’ is derived from Isotope Physiology, Ecology, and Geochemistry, and ‘PEG’ is ‘a small piece of wood, metal, or other material that is used to hold or fasten things or to hang things on (Merriam-Webster's Advanced Learner's English Dictionary)’. We thus would love to be a sharp and beautiful ‘peg’ that has employed stable isotope ratios as a powerful tool, to contribute the advances in sciences, particularly for better understanding ‘isotopes’ and for accelerating CSIA applications in physiology, ecology, and geochemistry.
